The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) – 2026. This year’s CUET UG 2026 results saw more than 3400 students secure 100 percentile in at least one subject. The results have been declared on cuet.nta.nic.in.

As per the official notice by NTA, one candidate achieved the remarkable distinction of securing a 100 percentile score in four out of the five subjects opted. While a total of 22 candidates scored 100 percentile in three subjects and 180 candidates achieved 100 percentile in two subjects. As many as 3,214 candidates secured 100 percentile in one subject.

Over 11 Lakh Took College Entrance Exam

Conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, CUET (UG) 2026 saw 15,68,867 candidates registering for the exam. With the flexibility to choose up to five subjects, candidates generated approximately 67,56,327 test instances and 12,906 distinct subject combinations. To accommodate this scale while maintaining examination integrity, the test was conducted over 19 days and 35 shifts across India and at international centres.

A total of 37 subjects were offered, comprising 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and the General Aptitude Test. Candidates could choose up to five subjects, including language papers and the General Aptitude Test.

The exam featured a total of 332 unique question papers containing 18,160 unique questions, and 996 total question papers across multiple shifts and languages, comprising 55,055 questions.

CUET (UG) 2026 was held in 321 examination cities, including 13 international cities, such as Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, and Kuwait City, ensuring accessibility for candidates both within India and abroad. The examination was conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

CUET UG 2026 Results Out: What’s Next

The admission process will begin at central universities, state universities, and other participating institutions across the country. Delhi University and other participating colleges will begin the online counselling process. Several universities offer admission to undergraduate programmes based on CUET scores, making the result an important milestone for students planning their higher education.
