AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi condemns lawyer Khaza Moizuddin’s death in Hyderabad SUV attack, alleges targeting over waqf cases.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday condemned the death of senior lawyer Khaza Moizuddin, who was allegedly run over by an SUV outside his residence in Hyderabad, and demanded immediate action against those responsible.
Moizuddin (63) was hit by a vehicle without a number plate near his home at Masab Tank while he was about to enter his car, police said. He was rushed to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Videos of the incident have since gone viral on social media.
Owaisi Reacts To Hyderabad Lawyer’s Death
Reacting to the incident, Owaisi said he personally knew the advocate and described the killing as “brutal”. In a post on X, the Hyderabad MP urged police to arrest both the alleged mastermind and the assailants involved in the case.

The AIMIM leader later visited Moizuddin’s residence to offer condolences to the bereaved family members. The party also said it would stand firmly with the family in their fight for justice.
Police File Murder Case
According to Moizuddin’s son, the advocate had been fighting cases related to alleged encroachment and grabbing of waqf properties. He claimed his father had received repeated threats and alleged that attempts had earlier been made on his life.
Meanwhile, police have registered a murder case based on the family’s complaint and formed multiple teams to investigate the incident. Officials said CCTV footage from the area is being examined and all allegations raised by the family would be verified during the probe.
AIMIM, in a statement, alleged that Moizuddin had been targeted for protecting waqf properties and demanded a thorough investigation along with a speedy trial through a special court.
