A very shocking and serious controversy has come to light from the Malayalam film industry. Actress Ansiba Hassan, known for her excellent role in the recently released film ‘Drishyam 3’, has made very serious allegations against her co-actor Tiny Tom and some members of the ‘Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes’ (AMMA). Ansiba claims that his character assassination was carried out within the organization and communal comments were also made against him, due to which he ultimately had to resign from the organization after getting upset.
On the other hand, after these allegations came to light, actor Tiny Tom has also come in front of the media and given his clarification and completely rejected all the claims of Ansiba and termed it as a well-planned conspiracy against him. This big allegation and counter-allegation has created a stir in the entire industry.
What did Ansiba allege?
Actress Ansiba Hassan, while sharing her ordeal, claimed that another member of AMMA had informed her that Tiny Tom had allegedly said very objectionable things against her. According to Ansiba, Tom had called him a ‘jihadi’ and falsely accused him of forcing Tiny Tom’s driver to convert to Islam. Apart from this, the actress also alleged that various false rumors were spread within the organization regarding her personal life, which hurt her image.
Had to resign under compulsion
Ansiba said that although she had mentioned only personal and professional reasons in her resignation letter, she had personally informed the top leadership of AMMA about all the serious problems she was facing while staying within the organization. He further made another shocking allegation and said that a woman member of the executive committee had also filed a false complaint against him in the police, due to which she went through a lot of mental pain.
Tiny Tom’s Counterattack
After these sharp allegations by Ansiba, actor Tiny Tom immediately came forward and denied all these claims. Tom said that Ansiba herself is admitting that she has heard these things from someone else and not with her own ears. Raising questions, he said, ‘How can she say this on someone else’s advice? If he himself had heard these things, he should have complained against it to the concerned authorities at the same time.
Tom clarified that he is in charge of the events during a stage show, so sometimes shouting at each other or arguing under the pressure of work is common among friends, but it should not be misinterpreted.
Clarifying the communal allegations against him, Tiny Tom said, ‘How can I call someone a ‘jihadi’ or anything like that? I can never even think of making such an allegation because all my friends are Muslims. He further told that Ansiba had given his resignation on 21st February, after which on 22nd itself, the General Secretary of AMMA had replied to the mail asking him to continue the work till the General Body, although that mail was later deleted. According to Tom, after this there was no mention of resignation even in the meeting on March 2.
Giving further details of the entire incident, the actor said that recently on May 12, he had formally talked to Ansiba over the phone on speaker and asked the reason for her resignation. At that time Ansiba had clearly said that she was resigning due to her busy schedule and apart from this she had not made any other complaint. Tom said, this clearly seems to be a big conspiracy to defame someone who works honestly for the organization.
