6 और ट्रेन, 24 अतिरिक्त फेरें… दिल्ली में अब दौड़ेंगी ज्यादा मेट्रो, PM मोदी की अपील के बाद DMRC का ऐलान

Now there are preparations to run more metro in Delhi than before. The government has taken this step to promote public transport by abandoning private vehicles in the midst of fuel crisis.

Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) has decided to increase metro trips (train trips) from May 18. According to the new plan, DMRC will launch 6 additional trains every Monday. With the help of these additional trains, the metro will make 24 more trips than daily.

Metro administration says that there is a huge crowd of working people on Monday, hence the work is being started from this day. If the demand of passengers increases further in the coming days, then similar additional services of Metro can be added in the remaining days of the week also.

Strong arrangements to deal with the crowd

With the increase in metro frequency, the number of passengers at the stations is also expected to increase significantly. To handle this increasing pressure Delhi Metro has made special arrangements for security and convenience. Additional security personnel will be deployed at the stations.

Apart from this, new ticket counters will be opened to save passengers from long lines. Additional baggage scanners for checking luggage and frisking facilities for checking passengers will also be increased.

There will be less dependence on roads

DMRC says that their entire metro network provides an excellent and uninterrupted connectivity to the passengers. The Delhi Metro network is directly connected to important railway stations, interstate bus stands, airport terminals, RRTS, Noida Metro and Rapid Metro.

Due to this strong network, people’s dependence on road transport will be significantly reduced, which will not only reduce the jam on the roads but will also be of great help in reducing fuel consumption in the country.
