In Rajasthan, political parties have received a total donation of Rs 112.97 crore in the year 2024-25. BJP has got the maximum amount of 87.51 crores and Congress has got 25 crores. This has been revealed in the report of Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) on the details of donations given by political parties to the Election Commission. In Rajasthan, Congress and BJP have received the maximum donations. The remaining parties have received nominal amounts. Aam Aadmi Party has received Rs 39 lakh and CPI (M) Rs 7 lakh. Barring BJP and Congress, other parties have received a total of only Rs 46 lakh. In Rajasthan, 77.46% of donations went to BJP, 22.12% to Congress. Among the donations given to political parties in the state, BJP has received the highest amount of 77.46%. Congress has received total donations of 22.12%. Other parties do not have even 1 percent stake in it. Rajasthan is at number 7 in the country in giving maximum donations to political parties by business houses. Corporate and business houses in Rajasthan have given Rs 69.271 crore to parties. Talking about individual donors, the amount is around Rs 43.70 crore. Hindustan Zinc donated Rs 15 crore to BJP, Rs 10 crore to Congress. Hindustan Zinc Limited donated Rs 15 crore to BJP and Rs 10 crore to Congress in the year 2024-25. Hindustan Zinc is among the biggest donors to Congress. Hindustan Zinc’s parent group company Vedanta has given Rs 67 crore to BJP. Satyanarayan Dhoot of Jodhpur gave Rs 15 crore to BJP. In the individual category, Satyanarayan Dhoot of Jodhpur has given the maximum donation from Rajasthan. Satyanarayan Dhoot has donated Rs 15 crore to BJP. After this, Sanjay Dhoot of Jodhpur has donated Rs 7 crore to BJP. Anish Dhoot from Jodhpur has given Rs 2 crore to BJP and Dinesh Dhoot has given Rs 1 crore. Wonder Cement gave Rs 11 crore. Among the companies of Rajasthan, Hindustan Zinc and ShreeCement have given the maximum Rs 15 crore each to BJP. Wonder Cement has donated Rs 11 crore, RSWM Limited, Udaipur has donated Rs 5 crore and Shriram Industries of Jodhpur has donated Rs 3 crore.
