Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, had recently appealed to collect funds for a child who needs an injection of Rs 9 crore. After Elvish’s post surfaced, comedian Munawar Faruqui had said without naming anyone that some people pay money to influencers to collect funds in the name of NGOs. Now after Munavvar’s video surfaced, Elvish Yadav has reacted angrily on it.

How did the controversy start?
Elvish Yadav had posted a video on December 19, in which he introduced the person whose son has a rare disease called SMA. The injection for the treatment of this disease comes from USA, which costs Rs 9 crore. If the child does not get the injection on time, there can be a danger to his life. In the video, Elvish Yadav had appealed to give maximum funds.
After Elvish’s video surfaced, Munawar Farooqui posted a story on Instagram saying that he had also received an offer to promote the video. He raised the question that if funds are being collected then why money is being given to influencers. He said that this could be a scam.
After the video surfaced, many users believed that Munawar Farooqui had posted the video targeting Elvish Yadav. However, Munawwar later posted another video, in which he said that he just wants to make people aware, he has not targeted anyone. Munavvar also said that they eat food together in one plate.
