Actor Satish Shah died on October 25 due to kidney failure. On Monday, October 27, a prayer meeting was organized for him at Jalaram Hall in Juhu. On this occasion, many Bollywood celebrities including Rakesh Roshan, David Dhawan, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonu Nigam, Johnny Lever, Poonam Dhillon arrived and paid tribute to him in their own style.

During the prayer meeting, on one hand the title track of his popular show ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ was sung, while on the other hand, singer Sonu Nigam also remembered Satish Shah through songs. In a video going viral on social media, Sonu Nigam is seen singing the song ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ sitting in front of Satish Shah’s wife Madhu Shah. He even turned the mic towards the late actor’s wife. And then she was also seen singing two lines.

Paali Ganguly attended the prayer meeting to pay tribute, Rupali played the role of Satish Shah’s daughter-in-law in the TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.

Actor Anoop Soni also attended the prayer meeting to pay tribute.
