Senior Bollywood actor Satish Shah died on October 25 at the age of 74. The actor was suffering from kidney related problems. Now after his death, Salman Khan, who had worked with him in many films, emotionally paid tribute and remembered him.

Salman Khan had a double role in the film Judwaa, released in 1997, while Satish Shah played the role of a Havildar in the film. Apart from this, in the blockbuster hit film Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Satish Shah played the role of father of Salman’s onscreen girlfriend Sonali Bendre (Preeti).
Apart from these films, both have also been seen together in Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
Satish Shah died on 25 October in Mumbai. His manager has told that he was having lunch at home on the afternoon of 25th October. He fainted as soon as he took the first bite. With the help of an ambulance, he was taken to Hinduja Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Satish Shah was suffering from kidney related problems for a long time. His wife Madhu has Alzheimer’s. Satish wanted to live long to take care of his wife. This was the reason why he got a kidney transplant done this year.
On the morning of his death, he had clicked a selfie and sent it to filmmaker Vivek Sharma. Along with the picture, he sent a message to the filmmaker, in which it was written, ‘Look, I have lost 20-22 kg of weight, now I am looking so handsome.’ Satish Shah was scheduled to shoot a project with filmmaker Vivek Sharma in November. Satish Shah was a part of the industry for 50 years.

Satish Shah became famous with the TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. He worked in many famous films like Main Hoon Na (2004), Kal Ho Na Ho (2003), Fanaa (2006) and Om Shanti Om (2007).
In the year 2015, Satish Shah was also made a member of the Society of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).
