CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination today, October 27, 2025. Candidates who have not yet applied can submit their applications on the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in before 11:50 PM.
Applicants are required to pay an application fee while submitting the form. The fee structure is Rs 1,150 for candidates from the General category, Rs 600 for those belonging to the General-EWS and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories and Rs 325 for SC, ST, PwD, PwBD, and Third Gender candidates.
The payment can be made online using net banking, debit or credit cards, or UPI. Candidates must also note that applicable service charges by the bank or payment gateway may be added to the total amount.
As per the NTA schedule, the last date for successful fee payment is October 28, 2025, while the correction window for editing details in the application form will remain open from October 30 to November 1, 2025.
The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted on December 18, 2025, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various exam centres in India. The test will be held in two shifts: the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
