Famous content creator and actress Dolly Singh recently told that she had to face casting couch at the beginning of her career. This incident happened in Delhi when she was just 19 years old.

Dolly said about this in a conversation with Zoom, “Once, when I was trying to start a career in acting in Delhi, I went to meet a casting director. At first he talked to me a lot on the phone, which was a bit strange, but when you are new, it seems that if you don’t talk, the other person can understand that you are not interested in the work.”

Dolly further said, “Being a woman, when a man gives you an offer, it is difficult to understand. You don’t know whether he is giving you because of your talent or for some other reason. It was very confusing. He would talk to me on the phone, tell me about the audition and the arrangements and then say – ‘Come to this hotel tomorrow; I will introduce you to a producer.’

Dolly has also appeared in Bollywood films “Thank You for Coming” and “Double Excel”.

Dolly also told, he took me to a big five-star hotel. I was sitting in the restaurant; The producer also came and sat near us. I don’t drink alcohol, so I just sat there quietly while he drank.

Dolly further told that after this, when we were sitting in the car and waiting for that elderly man, suddenly he kissed my lips and started putting his hand under my shirt. I was so scared that I didn’t know what to do. I was only 19–20 years old then, and the man was around 35–40 years old. I removed it from myself, but could not say anything. I could neither speak nor run; The bus sat there and only asked to be dropped at the metro station, hoping that nothing else would happen. Thankfully nothing further happened, but it was very unexpected.”
