Filmfare Awards is being organized once again in Gujarat this year. The 70th Filmfare Awards 2025 will be held on 11 October 2025 at EKA Arena Stadium, Ahmedabad.
‘King Khan’ Shahrukh Khan will host this event after 17 years. The pairing of Shahrukh Khan, Karan Johar and Manish Paul will make this night more memorable.
Regarding the event, Shahrukh said, “Filmfare has always been in my heart. The experience of holding Black Lady for the first time was very special. Being the host in the 70th year is very special for me. I promise that this night will be full of laughter, memories and a wonderful film festival.”
At the same time, celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Kriti Sanon will perform on the stage. At the same time, this year Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi will give their first performance for Filmfare.

The nomination list of the 70th Filmfare Awards was released recently. The film ‘Missing Ladies’ attracted the most attention with 13 nominations. ‘Stree’ has received 8 nominations and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ has received 5 nominations. She has been nominated in the Best Actress Critics category for her performance in Nitanshi Goyal and Pratibha Ranta’s film ‘Laapta Ladies’.

The Filmfare Awards were started in 1954. This award ceremony is organized every year. For the first time this award was given to the film ‘Do Bigha Zameen’.
If we look at the current record, Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Gully Boy’ has won 13 Filmfare Awards. At the same time, Aamir Khan’s film ‘Rang De Basanti’ received the maximum 19 nominations. Writer and director Gulzar has received Filmfare Awards the maximum number of 21 times so far.
