SSC Constable Driver Recruitment 2025 Begins, Apply For 737 Posts By October 15

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is now accepting applications for the recruitment of Constable and Head Constable posts. A total of 737 Constable (Driver) posts in Delhi Police will be filled through this recruitment drive. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their application forms on the official website ssc.gov.in. The deadline for applications is October 15, 2025.

The last date and time for online fee payment is October 16, 2025, up to 11 PM. The application correction window will remain open from October 23 to 25, 2025, up to 11 PM. The exam will tentatively be held from December 2025/January 2026.

SSC Constable Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates applying for Constable driver post must be between 21 to 30 years as of July 1, 2025. There is relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognised board. They should be able to drive heavy vehicles confidently. Must possess a valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles as well as knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

SSC Constable Recruitment 2025: Application Fee

The application fee for both posts is Rs 100. However, female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of the fee.

Step 3. Register yourself by entering the necessary details.

Step 4. Fill in the application, upload documents if required, and pay the application fee.

Step 5. Review and submit the application form. Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for future reference.

SSC Constable Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination, followed by Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT)/ Document Verification (DV),Trade Test and Medical Examination. Selected candidates will get salary ranging between Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.
