The announcement came from Russia when US President Trump has imposed a total of 50% tariffs on India’s exports. Of this, 25% extra tariffs have been imposed due to Russian oil purchase. The US says that this is helping Russia to continue the Ukraine War.
Putin recently met Ajit Doval
India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval met Putin in Kremlin during his visit to Moscow earlier this month. The meeting took place for bilateral talks on security, economic and energy cooperation.

Modi went to Russia twice in 2024

Putin avoiding travel to other countries
