On Wednesday night, an attempt was made to attack some border cities of India towards Pakistan, but India’s air defense had thwarted all attacks.
On Thursday evening at 5:50 pm: Mea held a press conference
Mea held a press conference after 5 pm on Thursday evening. During this, Colonel Sophia Qureshi said that we did not target military bases. We had already warned Pakistan. He said that we thwarted Pakistani attacks.
On the night of 07-08 May 2025, Pakistan tried to target several military bases in northern and western India including Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Naal, Phalodi, Uttaralai and Bhuj using drones and missiles. These were excluded by the Integrated Counter UAS grid and airforce systems. The debris of these attacks is now being recovered from many places which prove Pakistani attacks.

During this, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that the allegations of targeting the Neelam-Jhelum dam project are false, concocted. India has targeted only terrorist basic hideouts. If this is an excuse to target the Indian infrastructure, Pakistan will be responsible for the result of India’s response.

Security agencies have confirmed that 8 missiles were fired from Pakistan in Jammu Citizens Airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia and neighboring areas and all were stopped by S400.
8:56 pm: Heavy cannon shells from Samba
There were reports of heavy cannon shelling and drone attack from Samba, the border area of Jammu and Kashmir. In this attack from across the border, not only heavy cross firing (CFV) was carried out, but also the drone was used, which made the situation more stressful.
9:05 pm: Pakistan’s drone killed
India, responding to Pakistan’s attack, killed Pakistan’s drone near Jammu University. These drones were moving from the border areas towards Jammu and were caught on the radar as soon as the university came close to the campus. India’s S-400 system is constantly killing Pakistan’s drones and missiles.
09:07 pm: Three drones are killed
Drone attacks took place in Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur. 9:09 pm: Attempt to attack Pathankot Air Force Station

9:12 pm: mortar shelling in Tangdhar
Heavy mortar shelling was carried out by Pakistan in Tangdhar sector of North Kashmir. Meanwhile, a loud blast was heard in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. A large sworm drone attack at Jammu Airport was thwarted. Efforts to attack similar attacks on other sensitive bases were also thwarted in time.
9:19 pm: Pakistan’s F-16 fighter aircraft killed
Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force killed Pakistan’s F-16 fighter aircraft. This action took place when the Pakistani aircraft was trying to enter the Indian airship. The vigilance of Indian radar and fighter aircraft targeted it in time.
9:22 pm: IL-17 Air Defense Gun starts using
In view of the drone attacks and the border shelling from the border, the Indian Army started using the IL-17 air defense guns in the entire border area. The army activated these weapons in sensitive sectors like Jammu, Rajouri, Tail, Tangdhar and Gulmarg.
Indian security forces destroyed all the drones fired by Pakistan in Jaisalmer. No drone could succeed in entering the Indian border, which averted a major security crisis.

The attack was carried out by Pakistan in response to increasing attacks and cross -border activities. This action of the Navy has stirred up Karachi and has shocked Pakistan’s maritime security.
