PM Modi shared his pictures from Bank of Hooghly on social media platform X. In these, he was seen sitting on a boat, enjoying the surrounding view and capturing the scene with the camera.

Along with the pictures, PM Modi wrote in the caption, ‘For every Bengali. Ganges The river has special importance. It can be said that Ganga flows in the soul of Bengal. Its sacred waters contain the eternal spirit of an entire civilization.

PM Modi further said, ‘This morning Kolkata In 2017, I spent some time on the banks of the Hooghly River, which was an opportunity to express my gratitude to Mother Ganga. Also, I got a chance to meet the sailors, whose hard work is worthy of praise and also met the morning walkers.
