Popular influencer Jai Dudhane, winner of Splitsvilla 13 and runner up of Bigg Boss Marathi 3, was arrested from Mumbai Airport on Sunday. Jai has been accused of fraud of Rs 5 crore. Jai got married only 10 days ago. He was leaving for honeymoon with his wife when he was arrested from Mumbai airport. However, Jai Dudhane says that all the allegations against him are baseless.

According to India Today report, the retired engineer has leveled allegations of fraud of Rs 5 crore against Jai Dudhane. According to the complaint, Jai, along with four members of his family, had got the retired engineer invested in 5 commercial shops in Thane. He was shown the property documents, after which he bought those shops for Rs 4.61 crore.

After some time, the complainant received a notice from the bank about the seizure of the shops he had purchased. The notice revealed that the shops in which he had invested the money were already mortgaged in the bank. Later it came to light that Jai had used fake documents for this deal.

Senior Police Inspector Praveen Mane of Mumbai Police told PTI that Jai Dudhane was arrested from Mumbai Airport on January 4. Jai and all his family members have also been taken under investigation. At present the investigation is going on.

Jai Dudha spoke – all the allegations are baseless

After his arrest, Jai Dudhane has declared himself innocent. He says that all the allegations are baseless. He told the media, ‘I was going on honeymoon, my brother, wife, my brother’s wife, we were all going abroad. I didn’t even know that there was an arrest warrant or look out circular issued in my name. The police told me that I could not leave the country. I will fully cooperate with the police.

Jai Dudhane married influencer Harshala Patil on 26 December. He had posted many wedding photos from the official Instagram account.

Jai Dudhane has been the winner of MTV Splitsvilla 13. Apart from this, he also participated in Bigg Boss Marathi 3, in which he was the first runner up.
