SpiceJet, the airline struggling with financial crisis and legal cases, has not deposited money in the provident fund of its employees for the last 2.5 years. This information has been given to CNBC by the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).
EPFO said that SpiceJet last deposited money in the PF accounts of 11,581 employees in January 2022. EPFO said that notice and summons have been sent to the airline for this. The airline is currently facing many legal cases.
