Influencer and content creator Orhan Avtramani alias Orry was summoned by the Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Police Crime Branch for questioning in a drugs case worth Rs 252 crore. Earlier he had asked for more time, but on Wednesday, 26 November, he finally appeared before the investigators.
Ori was interrogated for hours
As soon as on Wednesday, a long inquiry took place in the drugs case worth Rs 252 crore. According to the information, Ori was kept in custody and interrogated for about 7.5 hours. Many big questions were asked to him. He was asked which drug and rave parties he had gone to? How do they know Alisha Parker? Were they also partners in the drug supply chain? Ori was let go after the interrogation was completed on the evening of 26 November.
The sources of Ori’s interrogation by ANC officials in the drugs case have also made a big revelation. He told, ‘Ori was not cooperating with the investigators at all. He kept denying everything and kept claiming again and again that ‘I don’t take drugs at all.’ He said, ‘My Bollywood Have contact with all the people. I go to parties just to get photographed. Bollywood celebs themselves call me so that they can get photographed with them.
Ori did not co-operate
When asked about drugs, Ori said, ‘I don’t know anything about drugs.’ Ori completely denied even knowing Alisha Parker. He said, ‘I attend so many parties that I can’t remember where and what happened. I also go to parties in Dubai and UK. Bollywood celebs invite me to their birthdays and other parties. I party so much that I don’t remember anything.
Ori also said that celebs offer him a lot of money in exchange for getting photographed, but he does not take it. Ori earns Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore per promotion from Instagram promotion and collaboration. Ori gets a salary of Rs 3.5 lakh every month from Jio’s job. Jio also bears the expenses of their drivers, bodyguards and vehicles. He told in his statement that he works in the Communication Design Department.
On the other hand, Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhant Kapoor was interrogated. Siddhant had brought a new mobile phone during interrogation. Now his financial details, foreign trips are being investigated and it will be matched with Salim Shaikh’s statement. Sources say that Orri was also being interrogated from the angle of his involvement in drug supply. The interrogation was done by DCP Navneet Dhawale of Anti Narcotics Cell. Siddhant may be called for questioning again.
When was the summons sent to Ori?
Earlier this month, Ori was summoned when alleged drug smugglers Mohammad Salim and Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, who were deported from Dubai, took many big names during interrogation. According to Hindustan Times, Sheikh told that he had organized many lavish parties in Dubai and Mumbai, which were attended by high-profile people like Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, filmmaker Abbas-Mustan, rapper Loka, Ori and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui. Sheikh claims that he has links with Dawood Ibrahim gang.
On November 21, news came that Ori had asked for more time to join the investigation. His representative, appearing before the ANC on Thursday, had said that Ori was out of the city and would be able to join the investigation into the alleged drug smuggling syndicate linked to the Dawood gang only after November 25.
