Putin India Visit Live Updates: Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in New Delhi on Thursday evening at nearly 6:30 PM. After landing, he will go to the Prime Minister’s residence for a private dinner meeting with Narendra Modi. The one-on-one conversation is expected to continue until about 8.30 PM. After the meeting, the Russian leader will return to his hotel for the night.
His official schedule will begin late in the morning with a meeting with the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, likely at around 11 AM.
From there, he is expected to travel to Rajghat to pay tribute at the memorial. He is likely to spend around 30 minutes at the site before heading to Hyderabad House, where most of the diplomatic discussions will take place.
Prime Minister Modi will host a lunch for President Putin at Hyderabad House at around 2 PM. Officials said the rest of the afternoon has been reserved for structured meetings between the two delegations. Both sides will review ongoing cooperation and discuss possible new areas of partnership.
This short visit comes at a time when India and Russia continue to share strong political and economic ties. The meetings on Friday are expected to focus on bilateral issues such as defence cooperation, energy, trade, and long-term strategic projects.
