The stock market is witnessing a decline today i.e. on August 8. The Sensex is trading at the level of 79,200 with a decline of more than 200 points. At the same time, the Nifty is also up by more than 50 points and is trading at the level of 24,250.
Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 25 are seeing a decline and 5 are seeing a rise. Today, IT, banking and metal stocks have seen a big decline. Nifty Oil & Gas and Metal Index have seen a decline of about 1%.
Saraswati Saree Depot’s IPO from August 12
The Initial Public Offer i.e. IPO of Saraswati Saree Depot Limited will open on August 12. Investors will be able to bid for this IPO till August 14. The company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 20.
The price band of this issue has been fixed at ₹152-₹160. Retail investors can bid for a minimum of one lot i.e. 90 shares. If you apply for 1 lot as per the upper price band of the IPO of ₹160, then you will have to invest ₹14,400 for it. Read full news

The market was bullish yesterday
Earlier, yesterday, i.e. on 7th August, the stock market witnessed a rise. Sensex gained 874 points (1.11%). It closed at 79,468. Nifty also closed at 24,297 with a gain of 304 points.
