- Died in a road accident on 8 October: Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda (35) died on October 8. He breathed his last at 10.55 am at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. He was on ventilator for 11 days. Jawanda met with an accident in Pinjore on September 27 while going from Baddi to Shimla. After which he was admitted to Fortis Hospital. Where he was continuously kept on ventilator. On his death, Fortis Hospital had said that when Jawanda was admitted to the hospital, his spinal cord and brain were badly damaged. Today he died due to multi organ failure.
- Spinal cord injury, brain damage also: Fortis Hospital said Rajveer Jawanda was admitted to the hospital in extremely critical condition following a road accident on September 27, 2025, which resulted in severe spinal cord injury and brain damage.
- Many organs stopped working: Fortis Hospital had said that he was continuously monitored by massive medical support and critical care and neurosurgery teams. Despite this, many of his organs stopped working. After which he died on October 8, 2025 at 10:55 am.
