Recently, actress Ratna Pathak, who played the role of his wife in the popular TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, has told that she had talked to Satish Shah just two and a half hours before his death. He was talking about his age and looks.

In the blog written for Indian Express, Ratna Pathak threw light on the last conversation she had with Satish Shah. He told that Satish Shah had sent a WhatsApp message on October 25 at 12:57 pm, it was a photo in which it was written, ‘Because of my age, people often consider me elder.’

After about an hour and a half, Ratna Pathak laughingly wrote in response to his message, ‘This thing suits you perfectly.’

It was only two and a half hours after this last message that Ratna Pathak received a message from JD Majethia, producer of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, in which it was written, ‘Satish Bhai is no more.’

Ratna Pathak has written, ‘At first it seemed as if someone was making a stupid joke, but as the matter started to be understood, it became more difficult to believe. Satish Shah is no more. The person who had the courage to live life with full enthusiasm, laugh at it and bear every injury with a smile, is gone.

Ratna also told that at the funeral of Satish Shah, his wife Madhu was shocked and asked him whether this was really happening. Ratna wrote on this, When he was taken for the last journey, we all stood around him, trying to understand how exactly what had just happened happened.

Let us tell you that Satish Kaushik played the character of Indravadan in the popular TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Ratna Pathak played the role of his wife Maya Sarabhai in this show. Satish Shah’s wife Madhu is suffering from Alzheimer’s. This was the reason why he wanted to live long to take care of his wife. He had undergone kidney transplant in May this year. He did not have any children of his own. This was the reason why actor Rajesh Kumar, who played the role of his son Rosesh in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, gave him a shoulder.

A video of Satish Shah’s funeral was also revealed, when the entire star cast of the show was seen singing the song Sarabhai vs Sarabhai while bidding him a last farewell.
