विजय की शपथ पर ग्रहण! समर्थन पर VCK आज लेगी फैसला, IUML बोली- हम स्टालिन के साथ

There has just been a dramatic turn in the formation of TVK chief Vijay’s government in Tamil Nadu. Vijay was to take oath as Chief Minister at 11 am on Saturday. But letters of support from two important parties have not yet arrived. VCK has said that it will announce its decision on Saturday. IUML has clearly said that it is with DMK and not with Vijay. Amidst all this, the Congress MLAs of the state have reached Bengaluru late in the night.

Vijay has so far given letters of support to the Governor from 116 MLAs. In this, TVK has 107 MLAs, Congress has 5 and CPI-CPM has 4. But to form the government, support of 118 MLAs is required. Vijay currently has 116 i.e. 2 MLAs are still less.

Who are these two parties waiting for?

Both the parties are VCK and IUML. VCK i.e. Vidutalai Chirutaigal Katti has 2 MLAs. IUML i.e. Indian Union Muslim League also has 2 MLAs. If both support Vijay then Vijay will have 116+2+2=120 MLAs.

What did VCK say?

VCK has given an official statement. It is said in it that an online meeting of a high level committee of VCK was held. the whole Tamil Nadu Committee members attended the meeting. Everyone gave their opinion.

Based on all these ideas some proposals were passed. VCK leaders, known as ‘Izuchchi Tamizhar’, will officially announce the party’s decision on Saturday morning.

VCK also said that two different and contradictory views are being circulated in the media which is creating confusion among the people of Tamil Nadu. The good image of the party is being damaged by this. Therefore the party will clear everything on Saturday morning.

IUML has said that many people came to them. Important people from Vijay’s party also met him. But IUML has a clear message that they are with DMK yesterday also, are with DMK today and will be with DMK tomorrow also. That means IUML does not support Vijay but DMK.

VCK has placed a condition?

It has been reported that VCK has set a condition for supporting Vijay. VCK has said that they will support only if Vijay gives them the post of Deputy Chief Minister. This is a big condition. The post of Deputy Chief Minister is the second highest post in the government.

What is the situation now?

The Governor is still waiting for the support of VCK and IUML. Until both these parties give their decision, the Governor cannot announce the date of swearing in Vijay for the post of Chief Minister.
