Dubai’s flagship airline Emirates on Monday rejected reports that it was preparing to resume flights to Israel. The airline clarified that currently flights to Israel are suspended and there is no concrete plan to restore them.

This statement came after a Bloomberg report, which claimed that Dubai’s flagship airline is working on restarting flights to Israel in the coming months. The report said that if geopolitical tensions increase in the region, the plan may be delayed or even postponed.

The Bloomberg report also said that Israel has assured the UAE that Emirates’ landing and take-off slots at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport have been reserved. However, Emirates did not accept this claim either.

This report came to light after the visit of Israeli Transport Minister Miri Regev to Dubai. According to the report, Emirates officials had expressed their desire to resume flights between the UAE and Israel in the first quarter of 2026.

However, Emirates reiterated that no such decision has been taken at this time. The airline also said that passengers traveling between Dubai and Israel can travel via its codeshare partner flyDubai, which continues to operate direct flights to Israel.

Emirates, considered the world’s largest international airline, had stopped all flights to Israel in October 2023 due to conflicts in the Middle East.
