America carried out air strikes against the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria on Saturday night. This action was taken after the death of two American soldiers and a civilian in a terrorist attack in Palmyra last month.

According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), the attacks targeted several ISIS positions in different areas of Syria.

CENTCOM said that ISIS positions, weapons and structures were targeted in this operation. However, it has not been made clear in which areas and how many locations were destroyed.
