A few years ago Dharmendra came to Ludhiana and Sahnewal went to his old house. Here he met people from the surrounding areas. Dharmendra shared his childhood memories with people and also became emotional. However, now Sahnewala has sold his ancestral house and a new house has been built there.

Used to provide shelter to the people of Punjab at home Dharmendra used to say that many people used to come from Punjab to enter the film world. But there he had to struggle. Many people used to go to stay in his house. In a place like Mumbai, people used to avoid keeping anyone in their house and many people lived in Dharmendra’s house. His friend had named his house Dharamshala.
