The weather remained clear in Shimla and other areas yesterday. Due to this, some increase in the maximum temperature was also recorded. The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of clear weather everywhere in the state from today (Wednesday) to December 7.
Meanwhile, fog will continue in the plains of the state. The department has issued a forecast of rain and snowfall in the high altitude areas of Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi and Kangra districts on December 8 and 9. However, a forecast has been issued that the weather will remain dry for the next 6 days in Punjab.
On the other hand, an earthquake of magnitude 5.3 occurred in Telangana on Wednesday morning. Its impact was also felt in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. The earthquake occurred around 7:30 in the morning. Its center was at a depth of 40 km from the ground.
