The weather has once again started showing different moods across the country. Many states of North and Central India have started experiencing intense heat, while in the hilly areas there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the coming days due to the effect of western disturbance. With the beginning of March, the temperature in the plains is above normal.
Day temperature has crossed 35 degrees Celsius in most cities of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. The maximum temperature was recorded more than 38°C in Barmer, Rajasthan.
In Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, mercury was recorded more than 33 degrees in more than 25 districts of the state. The highest temperature was 35.9°C in Dhar. Whereas in Chhattisgarh, the maximum temperature of 36.5°C was recorded in Rajnandgaon.
On the other hand, the weather patterns are going to change in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There are chances of light rain and snowfall in the high altitude areas including Shimla after two days.
In Uttarakhand, the temperature is increasing in the plain districts including Dehradun, while there will be rain and snowfall in 5 districts from March 8. Snow alert has been issued in high altitude areas.
