It is noteworthy that recently in the report of M9 News it was claimed that Rashmika Mandanna and actor Vijay Deverakonda have got engaged. The engagement took place in the presence of only close friends of both the families and artists.

Rashmika shared a video on Instagram. In the video, she is seen listening to the song ‘Rahein Na Rahein Hum’ from her upcoming film ‘Thama’ and is also singing the song to her pet dog. In this video the diamond ring is clearly visible on her ring finger.

The fans were very happy after seeing the ring. Many people congratulated her and said that the engagement of the actress has been confirmed. One user wrote, “Engagement confirmed.” Another said: “Finally found the ring.” Another wrote, “The entire video is just to show off the ring.”

Earlier, Vijay Deverakonda was also seen wearing the ring after his alleged engagement.

Vijay and Rashmika have been close to each other for a long time. However, both of them never officially accepted their relationship nor talked about it publicly.

Rashmika Mandanna started her acting career in 2016 with the Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’, which was a box office hit. After this he also worked in films like ‘Anjani Putra’ and ‘Chamak’.

In 2018, he entered Telugu cinema with the Telugu film ‘Chalo’, which was a hit. ‘Geeta Govindam’, released in the same year, gave him great recognition.

After this, he also acted in films like ‘Devdas’, ‘Yajamana’, ‘Dear Comrade’, ‘Bheeshma’, ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ and ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.

Whereas, Vijay Deverakonda started his acting career in 2011 with the romantic comedy film ‘Nuvvila’ directed by Ravi Babu. After this he played small roles in films like ‘Life is Beautiful’ (2012) and ‘Yevade Subramaniam’ (2015).

His first film as a lead role was ‘Pelli Choopulu’ in 2016, which was a hit. After this he acted in ‘Dwarka’ and then ‘Arjun Reddy’ in 2017. Due to which he got special recognition.

In 2018, he acted in several films including ‘Mahanati’, ‘Geeta Govindam’ and ‘Taxiwala’. Geeta Govindam became his highest grossing film. He also acted in the Tamil film ‘NOTA’, but it was not successful at the box office.

After 2019, there were ups and downs in his career. ‘Dear Comrade’ (2019) and ‘World Famous Lover’ (2020) received mixed reviews. In 2022, the Hindi-Telugu film ‘Liger’ was released, which was a flop. ‘Khushi’ released in 2023 was average and ‘The Family Star’ in 2024 was a flop at the box office. In 2025, Vijay starred in the film Kingdom, which was released on 31 July 2025.
