योगी जी से मिले बिना फिल्म बना दी: प्रोड्यूसर अजय मेंगी बोले- किसी को ‘प्रोपेगेंडा’ मूवी लगी तो टिकट के पैसे वापस कर दूंगा

The film ‘Ajeya: The Untold Story of a Yogi’, made on the life of CM Yogi Adityanath, will be released in theaters on 19 September. Producer-actor Ajay Meni recently had a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar about this film. Ajay told that Yogi ji made the entire film without meeting. If this film finds someone ‘propaganda’, he will return the money for his ticket.

Question- What would you like to say about ‘invincible: The Untold Story of a Yogi’?

answer- Emperor has come to tell stories related to soil here through cinematic production. What can sage Muni improve for society. When I started reading, I saw the first change in Uttar Pradesh. 7-8 years ago, Uttar Pradesh Economeli was in the eighth position. Today is number one. Women could not roam freely because of the first crime. When I started reading about it, it was understood how Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath ji has worked with full honesty and integrity. The story of this film is based on Shantanu Gupta’s book ‘The Monk Hu Bikem Chief Minister’.

Question- In this film, Dinesh Lal Yadav is playing the role of Nirhua journalist and Anant Joshi, Yogi ji. How was the casting of the film?

answer- We were looking for such characters who are connected to the land. Dinesh Lal Yadav is a person connected to the land. He himself has plowed the fields, he has fought many types of struggles, so he gets the love of the audience. It is about Anant Joshi, then he is from Uttarakhand. His personality is also something similar. All the other actors of the film have also worked very hard.

Question – There was a lot of obstacles in the release of your film, sometimes Not getting a certificate from CBFC, sometimes visiting the court-court. Tell me about this.

answer- We never met Yogi ji personally, just read his book and decided to make a film. We took its rights from the author Shantanu. But CBFC said that we have to take NOC from Yogi ji, only then the film can be released. On the other hand, the court said that it is not required. When the film went to the Examination Committee, they told 29 cuts and the Revision Committee suggested 31 cuts. The court then decided to watch the film itself. This was the first time in the country that a judge gave his decision by watching the film and allowed the film to be released.

Question- When a film is made on a political figure, it is called ‘propaganda’. What would you say on this?

answer- I would just say that if someone called it ‘propaganda’ after watching this film, then I will return the money of his ticket. This is my promise. This film does not give people any wrong message, but inspires.

Question – Will the second part of this film also come? And, will you show this film to Yogi Adityanath?

answer – Our film shows only a small part of his life. Yogi ji is such a great person that films can be made on many aspects of his life. If he ever got time, I definitely want him to show him the film. Let me tell you one thing that till date I have never met Yogi ji. This film was made without meeting them.
