Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is in the headlines these days for his recently released film ‘Border 2’. The film is getting tremendous response from the audience. Meanwhile, the actor has come into discussion on social media for a different reason. Actually, on Saturday, Varun traveled by Mumbai Metro to avoid the traffic and went to a cinema theater for a surprise visit. Varun had also shared one of his Instagram stories with Metro, in which he had asked the fans which theater they were going to. But shortly after this, such videos started going viral on social media, in which Varun was seen doing pull-ups while hanging from an overhead metal rod inside the metro coach. In the video, other passengers were also seen standing around him. After the video surfaced, Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) has reacted to it through its official social media account. The video was captioned, “This video should have come with a disclaimer like your action movies, @Varun_dvn. Don’t try to do this in the Maha Mumbai Metro. It’s okay to ‘hang out’ in the Metro with friends, but these grab handles are not meant for hanging. Such acts are punishable under sections of the Metro Railway (Operation and Maintenance) Act, 2002 relating to creating nuisance and/or causing damage to property.” Depending on the seriousness of the crime, fine and even jail can be imposed, so friends, move around, but travel responsibly in Maha Mumbai Metro. Social media users are praising this video of the authority. People appreciated the impartiality of the authority. Many people said that the rules in public transport should be equal for everyone, be it a common man or a big celebrity. Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty are seen in important roles in the film Border 2, which is performing brilliantly at the box office. Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Ananya Singh and Medha Rana are also a part of the film. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is a sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 superhit war film Border and its story is based on the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The film has so far done a worldwide business of Rs 250 crore.
