Congress’s second list for Maharashtra Assembly elections will be released today. The first list was released on Thursday night (24 October). There were names of 48 candidates in it. The party has fielded Praful Guddhe against Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis from Nagpur South West.
Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole has been given ticket from Sakoli seat. Prithviraj Chavan is the candidate from Karad South seat. Sunil Deshmukh has been fielded from Amravati. Five women candidates have been given tickets in the first list of Congress. There are 5 ST and 3 SC candidates.
NCP Sharad is part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance with Congress-Shiv Sena Uddhav. These big parties of MVA have announced 158 candidates so far. This includes 65 names of Shiv Sena Uddhav and 45 names of NCP Sharad.

Seat sharing in MVA On October 23 itself, all three parties had announced to contest on 85-85-85 seats. 18 seats were said to be given to other parties of INDIA block including Samajwadi Party, SWP and CPI(M).
The issue is still stuck on 15 seats. Voting will be held in the state in a single phase on November 20 and the results will be declared on November 23.
NCP Sharad’s first list, 45 names Sharad Pawar faction’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) released its first list for the Maharashtra Assembly elections on Thursday evening. There are 45 names in it.

65 names in the first list of Shiv Sena (UBT) On the evening of 23 October, Shiv Sena (UBT) had released the first list of 65 candidates.
