Tesla CEO Elon Musk has again returned to the center of American politics. About six months after his confrontation with President Trump, he again attended a public event in the capital Washington.

Elon Musk also attended Trump’s state dinner organized in honor of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Along with this, Musk has also canceled the plan of forming his new political party.

Musk has also said that he will support and fund Trump’s Republican candidates in the 2026 midterm elections. Through this they indicated that they were choosing the path of friendship and not confrontation.

Musk clashed with Trump 6 months ago

When Musk left Washington in May, the picture was completely different from today. Musk was then angry over the Trump administration’s Big Beautiful Bill and his close friend Jared Isaacman not being made NASA chief.

Musk had claimed that Trump is not releasing secret documents related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein because his name is also in them. Musk had publicly announced to form a third party (America Party) and challenge the Republican Party.

Now the situation is reversed. Musk’s team is hosting a 2-day DOGE team reunion at a luxury hotel in Austin, with dinner planned as well as factory tours of Tesla, SpaceX, and The Boring Company. Musk himself is also likely to attend. These are indications that an agreement has been reached between the two.

Relations began to improve with Trump’s two decisions.

On the two issues on which Musk was most angry, Trump later took decisions which were directly in Musk’s interest. First- There was a big controversy over the withdrawal of nomination of Jared Isaacman, close to Musk, for NASA chief.

Just a few weeks ago, Trump nominated him again for NASA head, which Musk openly celebrated.

Secondly, Musk was also very angry with senior White House official Sergio Gore, whom he considered to be blocking Isaacman’s path. Later, Gore was appointed Ambassador to India and removed from Washington. At his farewell ceremony, Trump joked that some people don’t like you that much.
