The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached new assets worth Rs 581 crore of Anil Ambani’s Reliance ADA Group. This includes the company’s land in 13 states across the country.

This action has been taken in the FEMA case against Reliance Home Finance and Reliance Commercial Finance. Loans worth Rs 11 thousand crore taken by these companies from banks had become NPA.

One month ban on protests in Delhi University, High Court asked – how can peaceful protests be stopped?

The Delhi High Court has questioned the order of the Delhi University administration, in which all types of demonstrations were banned in the campus for a month. A bench headed by Chief Justice DK Upadhyay said that the police can take action if any law is violated, but a complete ban on protests is not right.

The court said that if someone is protesting peacefully then he cannot be stopped. The court also raised questions on the order to impose Section 144.

The High Court said that it is hearing this matter only because it is a matter of rights of expression under Article 19 of the Constitution, but these rights should not be misused. The court also advised the students to exercise restraint and fixed the next hearing of the case on March 25.

Delhi High Court refuses to send minor children to UK

Delhi High Court refused to order the return of two minor children to the United Kingdom. The court said that if children are living with their mother, it generally cannot be considered as illegal detention. Both the children are citizens born in the United Kingdom and came to India with their mother in August 2023. Since then he is living in Delhi.

A bench of Justice Naveen Chawla and Justice Ravinder Dudeja disposed of the Habeas Corpus petition of British national Yasir Ayaz. Yasir Ayaz had demanded that the children be produced before the court and sent back to Britain as per the order of the Family Court of the United Kingdom.

But the court did not accept this demand and allowed the children to live in India with their mother.

CM Reddy also said that the government is deciding to consider school education from nursery to class 12 and children in urban areas will be provided free or half-price transport facilities to and from school.
