The family took him to the local family doctor, where the diagnosis was confirmed to be dengue. After this, on September 13, he was admitted to Gungi Hospital located on Gandhi Nagar Road, Ulhasnagar. This action was taken by the Western Zone Cyber Police of Mumbai Crime Branch. The arrested accused have been identified as Pramod Kumar alias Bipin, Dharmendra Gupta and Rajiv Kumar Gupta. An elderly person was cheated of Rs 1.12 crore by digital arrest, 6 arrested including an IIT graduate and a bank manager. Mumbai Cyber Police has arrested six people in the case of digital arrest of a 68 year old elderly person and duping him of Rs 1.12 crore. The arrested accused also include a web developer who has studied engineering from IIT Delhi and an operations manager of a private bank. According to the police, the arrested accused have been identified as Tariq Momin, Rakesh Jain, Chintan Desai, Shankar Tyagi, G. Gohel and Ajay Sharma. The official said that Gohail is a web developer with BE degree from IIT Delhi. A case of fraud has also been registered against him in 2021. The victim is a retired businessman resident of Dahisar. The thugs had kept him under digital arrest in his house for about two weeks between July and August.
