Hours after the new government took charge in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, the administration canceled various orders. These also include the dissolution of the Administrative Council headed by the Lieutenant Governor. According to the official statement, four government orders initiated in 2020 have been withdrawn.

Under Order No. 808, an Administrative Council was constituted under the chairmanship of the Lieutenant Governor and consisting of his advisors. The Chief Secretary was designated the Secretary of the Administrative Council.

Robbery at gunpoint in Manipur’s Kakching bank

A branch of UCO Bank was looted at gunpoint in Kakching, Manipur on Wednesday. The robbers looted an amount of more than Rs 6 lakh. The incident took place at Kakching market at 3 pm. In the CCTV footage, masked robbers were seen threatening the guards and employees of the bank. The matter is being investigated.
