Sunil Shetty becomes emotional after seeing son Ahaan in the film. He has written a long note while sharing the footage of Border and Border-2 on Instagram.

The actor wrote- ‘Border 2 is releasing today. My son, today I want to tell you that for me Border was not a film in which I worked. This became a responsibility, which I fulfilled till the shooting was over. Years later, seeing you in uniform kind of brings back memories. It is not a reminder of nostalgia, but of discipline, sacrifice, silence and courage.

This film is not about glory or war. It reminds us why peace is important. The border is not where the country ends. Rather, this is the place where courage begins. And some stories don’t stay on screen. She resides in the mind of the nation. We should never forget what the uniform means and what it symbolizes. Hail India.’

Let us tell you that even before this, Sunil Shetty had become emotional about his son at the launch of Border 2’s song ‘Jaate Hue Lamho’. Ahan Shetty arrived with his father Sunil Shetty at the special screening organized for the launch. During the event, Sunil became emotional while talking about his son’s struggle and the film.

Regarding the general perception on nepotism, the actor had said, “People think that since he is Sunil Shetty’s son, he would have got the job easily, but the truth is that Ahaan has faced a lot in life, but I am very happy that he got a film like Border. A better film than this cannot be found. I would only pray that he does justice to his role and the film does well.”

While talking about the film Border 2, Sunil had said – Getting such a big film is a big responsibility in itself. When Ahaan was doing this film, I clearly told him that it is not just about wearing a uniform, always remember this.
