Actor Varun Dhawan was trolled by some people on social media regarding his film Border 2. Reacting to this on Tuesday, Varun said that it does not make much difference to him. During the Braves of the Soil tribute trailer launch event related to the film Border 2, he said that he believes in making a good film.

After the release of Border 2’s song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, memes were made on social media about Varun’s acting and his smiling reaction. However, after the release of the trailer of the film, many people praised him.

When asked at the event that when the teaser was launched, there was noise (trolling) about you, which is now gradually decreasing, how do you see it? To this he said, “I believe that you should shut out the noise and let your work speak for you. All this goes on, it doesn’t matter. I don’t work for this. What I work for will be known on Friday.”

Varun Dhawan is playing the role of Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya in Border 2.

Varun further said, “I have faith in the film. It is very important to make a good film. I have nothing to do with numbers etc. I feel that we have made a good film. That is the most important thing. When people go to the theatre, they forget everything and just want to be entertained. I come from the mindset where a person’s work speaks.”

Earlier, Sunil Shetty, who was a part of the film Border, had also supported Varun. He had said that no one has seen the entire film yet, has only seen some glimpses. Varun will do a great job in the film and he is playing the role of an officer who has given his life for the country.

Varun stressed on fitness and mental strength

At the event, Varun Dhawan shared his experiences related to the shooting of the film. He told that for this film he has to undergo very strict physical discipline.

Varun said that this project is not just a film, but a commitment that requires tremendous fitness and mental strength.

According to Varun, the shooting has been very tough and at times has had to be done in difficult conditions, where the stamina of the cast and the entire team is really tested.

He told that the nature of this film is such that the actors have to look and behave like soldiers. For this he had to undergo training much beyond the normal gym workout. Their objective was to give a real demonstration which could give respect to the Indian Armed Forces.

Varun further said that the difficult conditions present on the set helped the actors a lot in getting into their characters. Be it the weather or the difficult terrain, the environment gave depth to his acting. He told that he never experienced the kind of discipline required in this film in his previous projects.
