Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has refused his sons to come to Pakistan and take part in any protest.
Earlier, Imran’s sister, Alima Khan, claimed that her nephew would participate in the performance on August 5 for her father’s release.
However, Khan made it clear that his sons would neither come to Pakistan nor participate in any demonstration. Imran Khan has been lodged in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail since 2023.
Khan’s sons, Suleman Khan (28) and Qasim Khan (26), were recently in the US, where they met American MPs to release their father.

PTI will perform from August 5
Imran’s party PTI is preparing to start a nationwide demonstration from August 5 to put pressure on Shahbaz Sharif government and military establishment for his release.
The party has named it “Azad Karo” campaign. Imran’s sister Alima Khan also told the media that Imran has instructed PTI to hold Munir accountable when he or his wife’s safety is in danger.
PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that the party has no contact with Suleman and Qasim, but has the right to meet his father.
Imran Khan has been lodged in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail since 2023.
Imran’s son met Trump’s representative
Suleman and Qasim met Richard Granal, Special Representative of US President Donald Trump a week ago. Grenal reiterated the demand for his release, calling Imran Khan’s arrest a “political harassment”.
Grenal wrote on X- Welcome to California (Suleman and Qasim). Suleman and Qasim, you have to be strong. Millions of people worldwide are fed up with political oppression. You are not alone. “
This was not the first time Grannel supported Imran Khan. Earlier too, he had said that during the Trump government, when Imran Khan was the PM of Pakistan, there were better relations between the US and Pakistan.

Imran said- if something happened to me, Army Chief Munir is responsible
Imran Khan said a few days ago that if something happens to him, it would be the responsible army chief Asim Munir.
According to Imran’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI, Imran said that in recent times, he and his wife Bushra Bibi have increased bad behavior.
He said that television has also been closed in his wife’s cell and the basic human rights of the prisoners are not being given.
Imran Khan said- The killers and terrorists who were convicted are also kept in better circumstances. I am constantly being harassed, but whatever they do, I have never kneeling in front of harassment – nor will I ever bow down.
