During voting, Akshay Kumar was seen looking cool in blue shirt and pants. After casting his vote he spoke to the media. Akshay said, “Voting is happening for BMC today. As Mumbaikars, today the remote control is in our hands.” He appealed to the people of Mumbai to come out in large numbers and vote. Akshay said, “If we want to become the real hero of Mumbai, then it is important to cast votes and not just talk.” During this, Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna also reached the polling booth to cast her vote. After voting, he said, “Voting gives us some control and power. It gives us a chance to decide our own story.” She also said that she votes in every election as a matter of habit. The girl asked for help from Akshay. After casting his vote, when Akshay was sitting in his car, a girl came to him. He told that his father was in debt and requested for help. On this Akshay asked the girl to give the number to his staff. During this, the girl touched Akshay’s feet, on which the actor was seen stopping her from doing so.
