After this, the Bangladesh government decided at the last moment that this rare buffalo would not be allowed to be sacrificed. Animal Husbandry Department demanded to keep the buffalo safe. Mohammad Ruhul Quddus, officer of Keraniganj Police Station of Dhaka, said that the Animal Husbandry Department had contacted the police and demanded to keep this buffalo safe. Officials believe that this buffalo is still young and can live for many years. Talking to ANI, the owner of the farm said that this buffalo is 4 years old and it is an albino breed. Its color is white-pink. That is why it is rare and unique. Now this buffalo has been kept in Bangladesh National Zoo. The zoo administration has prepared a separate enclosure for him and special staff have also been deployed for his care. Zoo curator Atiqur Rahman said that the buffalo will currently be kept under observation and quarantine for two weeks. After this the common people will be able to see him in the zoo. Albino breed is extremely rare in Bangladesh. White or albino buffaloes are considered extremely rare in Bangladesh. Mostly only black colored animals are seen there. In such a situation, the different color of this buffalo and the golden hair on its head became a big reason for attraction for the people. A pigment called melanin is produced very little or not at all in the body of animals of albino breed. This pigment gives color to skin, hair and eyes. Due to its deficiency, the color of such animals appears white or light pink. According to experts, sometimes one albino is born among thousands of normal animals.
