Chahat’s mother’s statements made headlines many times during the show. On this Chahat said, ‘Whatever my mother said, he was angry. If such allegations were made against someone else’s daughter, her mother would have done the same. My mother made such sharp statements only for my safety.

Chahat’s mother accused Avinash Mishra of bias and unfair treatment in the show. Also called him a ‘womanizer’. On this, Chahat took her mother’s side and said, ‘My mother was very hurt by the things that Avinash had said about me. She watched all this on TV for three months and felt helpless.
