Saif said- ‘I used to get one thousand rupees every week. A producer had placed a demand in front of me that I have to kiss him 10 times a day on his cheek. I used to get money as I used to do this. People used to tell me how lucky I am that I am getting many chances, but it was not that I am getting the best films or I am playing the main lead character. I was a second or third lead in every film. But then there came a time when films one after the other became very bad.

In this interview, Saif described the 1990s as his net practice round. The actor believes that the round was a decade for him to try, mistakes and learning. Recently, he saw every film of the first two decades of his career, every night on YouTube. So that they can understand how far they have come.
