After this, the accused was arrested on the basis of the victim’s statement and the evidence found during the investigation. According to the police, during the investigation, some chats between father and daughter have also been found, which are being considered as important evidence. The investigation is being taken forward on the basis of these chats and other evidence.
The victim also told the police that her father used to pressure her to have relations with other people also. Moreover, when she tried to disclose the entire matter, the accused kept her educational certificates with himself, so that he could not take any action against her. The police are also investigating these allegations.
Names of some other people have also come to light during the investigation. However, the police say that their role is being verified and further action will be taken only after the investigation is completed. ASP Alok Jena said that investigation of technical and documentary evidence is going on. If involvement of any other person comes to light, action will be taken against him also.
