Pakistan said that Ram Temple has now been built at the place where Babri Masjid was earlier. Pakistan claimed that the Babri Masjid was a centuries-old religious place. It was demolished by the mob on 6 December 1992.

PM Modi hoisted the flag on the peak of the temple on Tuesday. He hoisted the 2 kg saffron flag on the 161 feet high peak at 11.50 am in Abhijeet Muhurta.

As soon as the religious flag went up, PM Modi, Mohan Bhagwat and CM Yogi saluted with folded hands.

Pakistan sought intervention from UN

Pakistan said that the Indian courts acquitted the accused of demolishing the Babri Masjid and allowed the construction of a temple on the same land. This is a big example of discrimination against minorities.

Pakistan alleged that pressure on religious minorities, especially Muslims, is increasing in India. Many historical mosques of India are in danger. Muslims are being marginalized socially, economically and politically.

Pakistan appealed to the international community to pay attention to the growing Islamophobia, hatred and attacks on Muslims in India. It asked the UN and international organizations to take steps to protect the religious places and rights of minorities in India.

There is large-scale violence against minorities in Pakistan.

Violence against minorities is being carried out on a large scale in Pakistan itself, which has falsely accused India. According to a US report, there were many incidents of attacks and threats against minorities in Pakistan in the first half of 2025, but the government there did not take any strict action against the culprits.

The court also recently acquitted 10 people arrested for burning a church in 2023. Cases of forced religious conversion and forced marriage of Hindu and Christian girls are often reported in Pakistan, especially in Sindh and Punjab.

In Pakistan, minorities are targeted under the guise of blasphemy law. Here, insulting the Quran or the Prophet can result in life imprisonment to death penalty.

According to local media of Pakistan, since 1990, more than 80 people have been killed by the mob on charges of blasphemy. Many times it happens that just because of a rumor of insulting the Quran or the Prophet, a crowd of thousands of people gathers at any place and attacks the accused.
