Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar says that the blast was caused by IED. Earlier his office had said that there was an explosion in a tanker on Airport Road. However, police say that nothing is clear yet.
Pakistan’s Home Minister Zia ul Hasan said that this attack was carried out targeting foreign citizens. An official said Chinese nationals were injured in the attack as they were working there on a project.
