Jagdeep Singh, cousin of deceased Kanwarpal in Canada, said that he came to Canada two years ago. Recently he got a work permit. On 20 August 2024, he was a victim of a major car accident in Guelph, Canada. In which he suffered serious injuries. The accident caused injury to his brain and punctured his lungs. The bone of one of his legs also broke. He fought for life and death in the hospital for 6 days and died on 26 August 2024.

Went to Canada in 2022
The deceased Kanwarpal Singh’s father Gurjeet Singh said that he had gone to Canada on a study visa on 25 August 2022. His studies were completed and he started working after his degree. Yesterday he got a call from Canada that Kanwarpal had died. After which a mountain of sorrow has fallen on the family.
Friends are raising funds in Canada
Kanwarpal’s body can be brought to India. For this, his friend and cousin Jagdeep Singh in Canada is raising funds. Jagdeep Singh said that 40 thousand dollars fund is needed to send Kanwarpal Singh’s body to India. He has raised about 27 thousand dollars so far.
Jagdeep said that Kanwarpal’s family is not financially stable. Kanwarpal was his only son and he was the main breadwinner. They are raising funds so that Kanwarpal’s family can see him for the last time.
