A soul-shattering incident has come to light during the ‘Blackout Mock Drill’ organized to deal with law and order and emergency situation in Patna, the capital of Bihar. At the time when the entire city was plunged into darkness for 15 minutes on the instructions of the administration, criminals shot dead 25-year-old spice businessman Pintu alias Barka in Sultanganj police station area.
The deceased Pintu was a resident of behind Musallahpur Haat and used to do business of spices. It is being told that the criminals ambushed him and targeted him. At night, as soon as the lights were switched off as part of the mock drill, the criminals fired a bullet into Pintu’s head.
There was a stampede in the market after the sound of the gunshot and the incident. The local people hurriedly rescued the seriously injured Pintu. Patna He was taken to the Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Watch VIDEO:-
Police and FSL investigation started
After committing the crime, the criminals managed to escape from the spot by taking advantage of the silence and darkness of the blackout. As soon as the information was received, the police of Sultanganj police station reached the spot and cordoned off the area.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the team of FSL i.e. Forensic Science Laboratory has also been called, which is collecting scientific evidence from the spot.

This incident has become a big challenge for the police and administration, because the ‘blackout’ which was organized as a security drill, was used by the criminals as their shield. There is a lot of anger among the local people as to why there were no adequate arrangements for patrolling and security during the drill.
