CBI has received indications that last year also the NEET paper had reached Renukai Career Center in Latur, Maharashtra before the examination. Coaching director Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar’s old nexus with the paper leak network has also come to light.

Bhaskar examined the students who were successful in NEET 2025 through this coaching. In this, 19 students got selection in AIIMS. 2 students were selected in AIIMS Delhi, 5 in Hyderabad and 3 each in Bhopal and Varanasi AIIMS. One student each reached Nagpur, Deoghar, Gorakhpur, Rajkot, Raipur and Mangalagiri AIIMS.

Shivraj Motegaonkar started as a part-time teacher about 25 years ago. Started ‘RCC Classes’ with 10 students from a small shop in Latur in 1999-2000. Today its network extends to 8 districts including Latur, Nanded, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Pune, Akola, Nashik and Solapur. More than 40 thousand students are involved in it.

At the local level, its assets are said to be around Rs 1500 crore. The investigating agencies are now also looking into how many students the paper was sold in the name of ‘one-on-one mentoring’.

Used to target rich and better students in studies

According to sources, Motegaonkar used to target students who were financially strong and were better than average in studies. After a deal with family members, they were included in the regular batch.

‘One-on-one mentoring courses’ were conducted in the last 15 days before the examination. As soon as the paper was received, these students were made to memorize questions and answers. CBI has also found many videos related to this.

Network extended to Pune, Nashik, Gurugram and Jaipur

According to a CBI official, Motegaonkar has been dating Prof. Manisha Waghmare, a Pune-based beautician, for many years. Was in touch with PV Kulkarni and Manisha Mandhare.

Yash Yadav of Gurugram, who was involved in the network, had sold the NEET-2025 paper to Vikas Biwal of Jaipur. Yash got this paper from Shubham Khairnar of Nashik. It is alleged that with the help of this paper, Vikas and his 5 siblings were selected in government medical colleges.

Suspected of selling paper for Rs 15 lakh

CBI on Tuesday raided the houses of two students in Central Avenue and Itwari area of ​​Nagpur. Mobile phones, laptops, handwritten notes and other digital devices have been seized from here.

Both the students had given the NEET exam this year. CBI suspects that the leaked paper was sold through Pune network at the rate of Rs 15 lakh per student. The agency has received indications of contact of both the students with Manisha Waghmare and Chemistry lecturer PV Kulkarni.

Instructions to make re-exam foolproof

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday reviewed the preparations for the NEET re-exam. He directed the officials that the examination of June 21 should be conducted in a safe, uninterrupted and completely foolproof manner. He said that whatever flaws came to light in the previous examination process, they should be completely eliminated.

  • CBI is also looking for those people to whom Shivraj had provided written papers and answer keys. Information has also come to light that Chemistry Prof. arrested from Pune. PV Kulkarni has taught Shivraj’s coaching in RCC.

NEET-UG held on 3rd May, canceled on 12th May

NEET-UG exam was held on May 3 in 551 cities of the country and 14 centers abroad. About 23 lakh candidates had appeared in it. According to NTA, information about irregularities in the examination was received on the evening of May 7. After this the matter was handed over to the central agencies. On May 12, the exam was canceled and the decision for re-exam was taken.
