Investigation agencies claim that sitting in Karachi dawood ibrahim Syed Mudassar Hussain alias Munna Jhingada, close to him, was operating this entire network. From a secure hideout a few kilometers away from Dawood’s White House in Karachi’s Clifton area, Munna Jhingada was in touch with people in India through video calls and encrypted messaging apps. It is alleged that new people were being recruited through this network. Investigation revealed that some suspects had conducted recce of many places.
The investigation claims to have found videos of Mumbai Dadar Railway Station, some big bridges and other strategic places. Security forces and important establishments were also included as possible targets.
Those arrested include suspects belonging to Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Punjab and Nepal. Agencies say that the weapons and grenades recovered from their possession are being investigated. The help of National Security Guard (NSG) was also taken to defuse some explosives.
Meanwhile, a case of receiving a threatening letter in a sports club in Ahmedabad also came to light. In the letter, a threat of blast on June 21 was made by taking the names of Dawood Ibrahim and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
However, the investigating agencies that reached the spot did not find any explosives during the search. The police is investigating the entire matter. On the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided about 20 locations in Mumbai and Gujarat linked to drug smuggler Mohammad Salim Dola, who is said to be close to Dawood.
Salim Dola was allegedly brought to India from Turkey in April 2026 and is accused of being linked to a drug trafficking network. At present, security agencies are busy investigating this entire network.
Investigating officers say that due to timely action, a major incident could have been prevented. At the same time, investigation is going on at many levels regarding the alleged activities of Dawood Ibrahim, ISI and D-Company. There may be big revelations in the coming days on the basis of interrogation and digital evidence.
